When Perry was growing up there was always music on in the house. Between the radio and his parents record collection by the time he graduated from high school he had an extensive musical knowledge and song list of 60’s and 70’s classics, ranging from the Eagles to the Beatles and even classic country like Roger Miller
During the 80s, 90’s and beyond Perry played in various cover and original bands around the Sacramento area, playing everything from hard rock to country, R&B and even disco! For the last 10 years you have probably seen him as the multi instrumentalist of the Cripple Creek Band, playing piano, organ, banjo and guitar
After leaving the Cripple Creek band Perry still enjoys playing the wide variety of music he has been exposed to during his career. This led him to create his own one man band, using backing tracks which he created himself
When asked what kind of music he plays, he laughs and says “that’s kind of hard to pin down. I play a little bit of everything, kind of like Elvis thru the 80s and beyond. There’s usually something in it for everyone. No one goes home disappointed.”
